No, it's not a problem with your computer. Some artists and their representatives have put up bad versions of their songs to make you waste your time and download them only to get only a bit of the song, or a repeated section of the song. A lot of people will download them, so you think they're legitimate, but it's all just a scam. Listen to downloads as you download to see if you're getting a bad one. If you are, stop that download and choose another version of the song and try again. Good luck!
Reply:The problem is with the person who made the MP3. Sometimes they are sampled at really low quality, and sometimes they are deliberately made incorrectly to anger illegal traders. You have to remember that anything you are downloading from LimeWire is coming from millions of different people, so it's hard to determine whether or not the person who contributed the file knew what he/she was doing
Reply:It happen to me sometimes. When that happen, stop it, and play them again. But remember that limewire is good for downloading but not a good player, the best way to listen to them is by passing them to another library, like windows media player, or iTunes. It should play well then, if not then it's what the others said about a bad mp3, but i don't think that is the case.

(Also at the moment you open a webpage or hit a link, it can distort the music you are listening to, pause it for some seconds, and then continue playing)
