On limewire, Does this mean i'm legally downloading the song?

I want to only download songs legally from limewire. I've checked the box that says "enable content filters" but when i want to download a song, a box comes up that says "Limewire is unable to find a liscence for this file, download anyway?"

does that mean i'm illegally or legally downloading the song?

Basically anything with Limewire is illegal. Cheers!
Reply:You can't legally download songs using limewire.
Reply:illigal not many are legal it isnt even legal if it is on the radio.

Reply:Use common sense. If you have to pay for it in a store, or online via iTunes or something similar, but you are able to download it for free with Limewire, then doing so is illegal. The artist isn't being paid for their work, just like if you walked into a store and shoplifted the CD.
Reply:Limewire, unless you are paying for the music, is allowing you to download it illegally. I have been so surprised they have lasted this long.
Reply:Well, it cant be call "illegaly" since the music you´re downloading is the shared music from another person, whos maybe have the original CD and this individual wants to share her or him music. But you have to return the love sharing your own "legaly" adquired music. and that´s how this work
