How do i remove a copy-protect from a downloaded song?

I i have paid for and downloaded the songs with licences. I have managed to burn the songs to a CD-R and then transfer them to my mp3 player, but one song won't transfer to my mp3 player. Each time i try the dialogue box claims it is copy protected, but i purchased and downloaded all the songs at once. I re-downloaded and backed-up my licences but it still wont transfer to my mp3 player. Help!

How do i remove a copy-protect from a downloaded song?
The only way I know of is to burn your songs to a cd then re-rip them off the cd.

Its a pain and you waste a CD, but it works.
Reply:if you have purchased the song then i believe it is legal to download it from anywhere. so if you have to go the peer to peer route to get the song i do not think you would be breaking any laws. it be no different than purchasing a cd and making a digital back up. only someone else has done the liberty of making a digital backup.
Reply:what i do, is i burn it to a cd and then copy it back to my computer as an mp3. works every time!
Reply:I don't know if you have any audio conversion programs, but if you do you may want to try to convert that file into mp3 again. Then maybe that would take the copy protection off.

Just speculation, but you could try it if you have the software.
