i just got a computer, and i want to be able to download songs and perhaps burn them to a CD, but i heat of all these lawsuits of ppl being sued for hundreds of thousands of dollars and i dont want to get in any trouble, is there a way to do, but not exactly pay for each song? ppl are telling me yes, but i need more opinions!... THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!

If you don't want to pay for each individual song, but are still willing to pay, you could always use a subscription service like Rhapsody, where you pay a certain amount per month, and then can download as much as you'd like.

If you're a college student, you could use Ruckus (http://www.ruckus.com/ ). It's a free (and legal) music service for college students, all you need is a legit, US-based, .edu e-mail address.
Reply:limewire. Its not illegal
Reply:LIMEWIRE ROCKS!!!
Reply:There are some sites out there, but most of them are loaded with spyware and trojans. Basically, unless the artist says his/her songs are available for free, any download is risky.
