How do you change the file type that limewire downloads as?

All of my limewire songs download as Quicktime songs. I want it to be Windows Media Player.. How do I change that setting.?

That's your computer's settings right-click a music file and click Play with Windows Media Player





Or open any folder, at the top go to Tools %26gt; Folder Options, click File Types, find MP3s and change them to open with Windows Media Player
Reply:Change your default settings, remove quicktime, its crappy apple software. Keep your windows media player only that will be your default settings, any time you add another media player it then overwrites all the files to its default. Unless you know where the settings are to change the windows player to be the default player just use one for now.
Reply:i'm not sure why you want them all wma files...but thats your choice i guess. MP3 is the most versatile in my opinion. But to convert any file to another format, you need a converter, which you can find many free tools on here:
