Can you download a song from Windows Media Player and use it in Windows Movie Maker for the background song?

Yes you can do that. on the left pane of Windows Movie Maker underneath where it says Capture Video, click Import audio or music. A box will pop up with the music in your library, just click the song you want and click Import.
Reply:Yes You Can

I Do It All The Time

Make Sure Its Mp3 Audio Though
Reply:As long as the song is in mp3 format is totally playable for background music
Reply:Yes you can import music but it can not be a copyright. If it's a copy right then it will say all these words telling you can't use. I hate when that happens to me. If you want to put background music then there is a button that says import so then you press import like you do to get your pictures, clips, movie, etc. After that you click on import music. Then browse what kind of music you want from Windows Music Player, but remember you can not use a copyright song, but usually use any kind of music you can. Hope you make a lot of movies and if you put on youtube.com I like to see them. I hope this helps you! =)
